We introduced our Bouquet Sponsorship program with a sponsorship from Martin Marketing! Thank you for your commitment to our mission of sharing joy!

Holiday gift-giving time is here! Share joy this season with a bouquet sponsorship! Add a custom message and pick your delivery week. We’ll provide a digital “gift announcement” you can send to the recipient. Dates for November and December are going quickly!

Activities

We had a wonderful tulip planting party with residents at Hellenic Senior Living Elkhart! Thanks to Wellfield Botanic Gardens for donating the bulbs. Our volunteers planted some for spring bouquets, and residents will enjoy a bright spot of joy when theirs bloom. We love what great partnerships can grow!

This group from Council on Aging volunteered, creating bouquets of joy to share! Thank you ladies!

Donations needed

We are accepting donations of empty cat litter buckets, good condition dish towels, rubber bands, and vases of all sizes. Contact us to arrange drop-off.

Joy Blooms was selected for a Giving Tree at Wellfield’s Winter Wonderland Holiday Lights! As you enjoy the displays, be sure to visit our tree and the others supporting local nonprofits. A portion of ticket sales on November 29 will benefit Joy Blooms. Please enjoy the lights and support the mission of Joy Blooms!

Update on our South Bend Satellite Workspace!

A huge thank-you to Holy Cross Village for donating space next to Notre Dame, where we’ll process floral donations from campus events. We’re busy preparing and stocking equipment for the upcoming donations — and we need volunteers! We hope you’ll register to help us share joy with nursing homes, senior living communities, and nonprofit programs throughout the South Bend area.

We are so grateful for the nomination and vote from 100 Women Who Care! We received this wonderful donation which will help us further our mission in so many ways! We are so grateful to these women who support and love our mission! We are truly blessed!

Volunteer Opportunities

Fall is here and we have many opportunities as our mission grows—we need your help!

Volunteers: If you haven’t tried certain roles yet, now is a great time to jump in. Many opportunities take just 1–2 hours. We especially need help on these days:

• Tuesdays-Vase cleaning at Hellenic Senior Living Elkhart

• Wednesday morning – P/U floral donations-Trader Joe’s, South Bend

• Thursday morning - P/U floral donations at Kennicott Brothers, South Bend.
