News from Joy Blooms

Joy Blooms participated in Green Day at the Elkhart County 4-H Fair, where we shared our mission and gave away 150 stems of flowers to fair visitors.

New Partnerships

We are now serving new partners in the South Bend/Mishawaka area: Milton Adult Day Services, SouthernCare Hospice Services, and Andre Place.

We also welcome LaCasa to our list of delivery sites in the Elkhart area. Recently, their team helped create bouquets that they later delivered to their residents.

South Bend Updates

In July, we received flowers from three weddings in South Bend and partnered with Vineyard Church and Ascent Hospice to deliver 30 bouquets for a Community Outreach Day.

Cookie is one of our busiest community ambassadors, always sharing the Joy Blooms mission and finding new ways to connect with others.

Vases Needed

Donated vases are essential to our mission.

• Smaller vases and bud vases are especially needed

• Starbucks-style drink bottles are also helpful

• Ask about hosting a vase collection drive

Two New Vase Donation Sites: Ryan’s Place in Goshen, now accepting vase donations, and Milton Adult Day Services in South Bend, coming soon.

We are seeking additional vase collection sites in the South Bend/Mishawaka area and surrounding Elkhart communities. Contact us if you are interested in hosting a drop-off location.
